Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday June 21st at the Marina The 20th Annual Juneteenth Celebration was held on Saturday June 21, 2008 at the Norwich Marina. The celebration kicked-off with a parade beginning at 10:00am from the Ame Zion Church on Franklins St. and ending at Brown Park. The festivities continued at the Norwich Marina. There was entertainment from local dance groups and recording artist. There were craft vendors and non-profit vendors, Boogles the clown and even a dunk-booth. Food was sold and provided by RIBS-N-Things all the way from Savannah Georgia. Radio station Jammin 107.7 did a remote broadcast from 10-2. Dj Dvyne continued the partying until 6:00pm.
